Foundations on the Fairway | 2010 Photos

The 2010 Foundations on the Fairways annual golf tournament was held on Monday, September 20th at the Sleepy Hollow Golf Club in Hurricane, West Virginia. The format changed from the typical scramble to a 100 Hole Challenge. Over 20 golfers started the day, bright and early, and played 100 holes of golf each over the course of the day. This tournament was a benefit for the Big Green Scholarship Foundation as well as the St. Mary’s Medical Center Foundation.

The weather was perfect for the event and all the golfers enjoyed the new format. The average 18-hole round was completed in just less than one and a half hours and scoring was kept for every round based on the time it took the golfer to complete the round and the actual score that was recorded. Prizes for many different challenges were awarded throughout the day.
