One thing you can expect from the St. Mary's Gala is that it’s always a unique experience. We have covered many locations, themes and decades. On May 20, 2017 we hope to dial it back to the summer of 1969 for our Woodstock Gala and create an evening you’ll never forget.

Proceeds from the Gala will support two programs backed by The Foundation: Kids in Motion and the St. Mary's Hospitality House

Your sponsorship of the gala supports two great needs in our area; childhood obesity programs like Kids in Motion and the St. Mary's Mileage Club, as well as the St. Mary's Hospitality House. Kids in Motion provides a number of exceptional programs for children and families looking to improve their health through fun, interactive exercises and dietary education. The program continues to grow to support children with special needs, along with programs for kids in disadvantaged neighborhoods. St. Mary's Mileage Club encourages children to participate in walking programs in more than 20 local elementary schools.

The St. Mary's Hospitality House provides lodging and food to qualifying guests who are supporting patients at area healthcare facilities. Over the past two years, the Hospitality House has provided shelter, food, and emotional support for over 5,500 patients and guests from 36 states and 2 countries, representing over 8,900 guest nights. Three out of four guests have loved ones being cared for at St. Mary's, but the House supports all other hospital providers in the area, as well as Hospice of Huntington. Through events like the gala and Pallotti Cup, donors support of the house is lifting many burdens from those who need a place to stay under times of stress and anxiety.

“I was calculating our steps as a school and we collectively walked 5,500,000 steps with the St. Mary’s Mileage Club. The parents today were in awe! Again, thanks for offering this program to our school!” - T. Jarrell – Dunlow Elementary
