All proceeds support St. Mary's Hospitality House
The St. Mary’s Foundation always tries to create a memorable experience at its annual black-tie Gala. For our fifteenth annual event, we plan to jet set you around the globe to experience the cultures and traditions that make our world so remarkable.
The Huntington Tri-State Airport will provide the setting to start your journey, while the culinary masterpieces of Chef Jamison Ugland will take your taste buds on a trip. The Voodoo Katz will kick-off the evening with international sounds, while No Bad Ju Ju will close the night with our guests on the dance floor. Patients who travel to St. Mary’s Medical Center for advanced healthcare have additional support now that their families and supportive friends can stay close by at the St. Mary’s Hospitality House.
The St. Mary’s Hospitality House, which opened in December 2014, has cared for over 11,500 patients and guests from 40 states and 4 countries, representing over 14,600 guest nights. Three out of four guests have loved ones being cared for at St. Mary’s, but the House supports all other hospital providers in the area, as well as Hospice of Huntington. Through events like the Pallotti Cup and other fundraisers, donors of The Foundation and theSt. Mary’s Auxiliary help keep the House operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“My mother had a stroke and was sent to the nearest hospital which was three hours away. You have given me a safe, warm place to stay while my mom is being treated. The support system here is phenomenal. If it weren’t for you, I would’ve slept in my car in the middle of winter and went hungry. You are truly a blessing.” - S. McCreedy, Pikeville, Tennessee
